THE ROLE :

Within the IT Shipping Customer department (Domain "Booking & Documentation"), the Functional Expert will work closely with Business Product Owners (CMA CGM). He/she will also work with IT counterparts (Applicative domains members and Architecture) & Development Partner, and potentially for other IT Shipping domains.

Main link between Product Owners & IT, the Functional Expert mission is to:
• Capture/Qualify the Business Requirements from Business Units/POs & describe Detailed Business Requirement (BRD), so that both Product Owners and IT teams fully understand and validate the business needs
• Review product backlog with Product Owners, collect priorities and contribute to framing phases.
• Validate Design Documents submitted by IT teams in accordance with Product Owners guidelines
• Contribute/Set up User Acceptance Tests organization & provide required support to Business testers
• Ensure the communication to Business teams on the progress of deliveries
• Ensure transversal functional consistency of the Information System of the Group

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO :
• Develop a strong and close relationship with Business Units and IT teams
• Translate in a common & understandable language the accurate business request from Business Units towards IT teams
• Ensure that deliveries correspond to the business requests expressed
• Coordinate activities between various IT contributors to deliver as planned
• Functional support to technical specifications or developments
• Test deliveries of our partners
• Provide regular, timely, effective and efficient reporting to IT management
• Participate in establishing governance, best practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these responsibilities.
• Apply CMA CGM methods & processes

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR :
• Master's degree
• Professional English fluent, French is a plus
• Experience in Shipping industry, on Business and/or IT side
• Knowledge of Shipping Booking & Documentation processes is a plus
• Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
• Autonomy, reactivity & pro-activity
• Analytic capacity, ability to go into details and synthesis mind
• Ability to manage priorities & progress of several subjects in parallel
• Ability to quickly improve skills in various functional areas
• Technical skills : SQL, API (swagger...etc)
• IT-minded
