Maritime Data Analyst Specialist

THE ROLE

In response to the expansion of our fleet and the increased data quality requirements it is essential to optimize our V2PS data reporting software. To strengthen this strategic initiative, we are seeking for Maritime Data Analyst at our headquarters in Marseille.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

• Provide support to vessels in the use of the V2PS software and during the deployment of new versions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the V2PS software (requirements expertise – ship & shore / development management / testing).
• Provide functional support for intervention requests related to V2PS/VRS data.
• Contribute to the data integration and development of the software.
• The role requires initiative in defining future development perspectives for V2PS while maintaining a strong focus on the operational and functional aspects resulting from its onboard use across the CMA CGM fleet.
• A maritime background would be considered an advantage.
• Collaborate with IT department to enhance data collection and improve software features

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

• Engineering degree (Master’s level / 5-year degree equivalent) or Merchant Marine Officer
• At least 2 years of experience in a company with international exposure
• Proficiency in data analysis
• A maritime background would be considered as an advantage
• Full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory
