About the Role

As a Ruby Backend Engineer , you'll join the Influence Marketing product team and contribute to the development and evolution of one of our core solutions.

Working closely with a team of 6 engineers , you will be responsible for the development of new features alongside architecture, development, and scalability of the platform. Reporting to the Director of Engineering , you’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and maintainability of the application.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and improve our Influence Marketing platform and its architecture
• Enhance system resilience, observability (monitoring/logging), reliability, and performance
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, industrialization efforts, and cloud deployments
• Define and promote best engineering practices (TDD, BDD, DevOps, Agile) across the team
• Conduct technical reviews and ensure development standards are upheld
• Mentor and support the development of junior engineers through coaching and peer programming
• Engage in technical watch to stay current with the latest technologies and suggest improvements

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in backend software development
• Strong expertise with Ruby (on Rails)
• Experience with NodeJS appreciated
• Solid background working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Ability to clearly explain and advocate for architectural and technical decisions
• A passion for clean code, performance, and scalable systems
• Comfortable working in an international context
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
