Accounting Senior Supervisor (M/F) - scope Banking, Cash Flows & Investments

YOUR ROLE :

For the parent company and main shipowner of the Group, within the Accounting Department, you are responsible for the Banking Accounting, Treasury Flows and Investments team, and you play a key role in the Group’s major accounting transformation projects.

Acting both as a hands-on manager, a technical reference, and a change agent, you operate in an international, multi-system environment undergoing significant transformation.

You are required to analyze and understand the flows with the Group’s entities, relying on a solid knowledge of information systems and on close collaboration with the various accounting teams, other departments, and subsidiaries.

In close coordination with our shared service centers as well as the Project and IT teams, you are also expected to be a driving force in proposing and implementing tools and processes aimed at structuring activities and strengthening internal control.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Management of the Treasury Accounting Department

• Lead and manage the team in charge of Bank Accounting, Treasury Flows and Investments
• Ensure the reliability of accounts, the quality of closing processes, and compliance with Group standards and procedures within your scope
• Be responsible for “banks and investments” reporting to the Finance Department
• Organize activities, prioritize deadlines, and support the development of the team’s skills
• Act as the key point of contact for internal teams (Finance, Projects, IT), subsidiaries, and shared service centers regarding the accounting of cash flows

Contribution to Accounting Projects

• Actively participate in the modernization and continuous improvement of accounting processes (standardization, digitalization, etc.)

• Contribute to the definition of business requirements for projects impacting Accounting

• Take part in testing, deployment, and user training phases, and support change management across teams

• Ensure project compliance with the Group’s accounting policies and standards

• Define, formalize, and continuously improve accounting processes, procedures, and accounting schemes

Continuous Improvement & Internal Control

• Act as a driving force in optimizing tools and enhancing the reliability of closing processes
• Strengthen accounting documentation and the internal control framework

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Higher Degree in Accounting / Finance
• At least 5 years’ experience, gained initially in an audit firm and subsequently in a corporate environment
• Comfortable working in international, multi‑stakeholder environments
• Ability to work in project mode and in cross‑functional settings
• Strong analytical skills, rigor, and ability to synthesize information
• Fluent English and French ; knowledge of SAP is a plus
