Pulmonologist
Job Title: Pulmonologist (Respiratory Medicine) – France
Location: Marseille, 10th Arrondissement, France (Approx. 10 km from the Old Port)
Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time | Self-employed (Liberal Practice) or Salaried
Work Schedule: Minimum 2 days per week (Minimum 4-hour sessions)
Salary: Net Income: €15,000–€18,000 per month
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outpatient pulmonology consultations.
Diagnose and manage respiratory diseases including:
- Asthma
- COPD
- Respiratory allergies
- Sleep apnea
- Respiratory infections
- Asthma
- Interpret Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT/EFR) with dedicated nursing support.
- Develop treatment plans and provide ongoing patient follow-up.
- Prescribe medications and communicate diagnostic results.
- Educate patients on disease management and preventive care.
- Collaborate with specialists across multiple disciplines within the medical center.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Doctolib and internal clinical systems.
Requirements
- MD/DM/DNB or equivalent Specialist qualification in Pulmonology/Respiratory Medicine.
- Specialist diploma must be eligible for recognition in the European Union.
- French language proficiency at B2 level or above (mandatory for clinical communication).
- Strong independent outpatient clinical experience.
- Ability to work autonomously with sound clinical judgment.
- Willingness to work within the French healthcare system as either a self-employed or salaried physician.
- Comfortable using electronic medical record systems and digital healthcare platforms.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Committed to building a long-term career in France.
