Internship - Group Treasury

YOUR ROLE

As part of the Treasury Department within the Group’s Finance Division, you will support the team in managing and monitoring the Group’s cash management activities.

Working in a highly international environment, you will interact with the Group’s regional offices, shared service centers, subsidiaries, banks, and other Head Office Finance teams.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

• Monitor the Group's daily cash positions – You will assist with the daily monitoring of cash balances and the consolidation of liquidity across the Group
• Support treasury operations – You will help the team execute and monitor funding operations and treasury flows
• Contribute to bank relationship management – You will support bank account openings and closures, help maintain banking authorities, and follow up on KYC documentation
• Monitor subsidiaries' liquidity – You will participate in analyzing subsidiaries' funding requirements and monitoring the Group's cash pools
• Perform treasury analyses – You will carry out ad hoc analyses of cash flows, bank fees, and banking terms and conditions
• Contribute to treasury projects – You will take part in initiatives to improve treasury processes and optimize treasury tools, including the Treasury Management System, e-banking platforms, and reporting solutions
• Support internal control and compliance – You will assist the team with internal control and compliance activities related to treasury operations

This internship will provide broad exposure to the cash management activities of a major international Group and an opportunity to develop practical knowledge of treasury operations, banking relationships, financial systems, and international cash management.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

• You are currently completing a Master's degree in Finance, Treasury, Corporate Finance, or a related field at a university or business school.
• You have a strong interest in cash management, banking operations, and international finance.
• You are comfortable working with financial data, with strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• You are rigorous, proactive, curious, and well organized, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• You have a good command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, VBA, and Power Query. Previous exposure to treasury management systems and/or reporting tools would be an advantage.
• You are fluent in both English and French, enabling you to communicate effectively in an international environment.
