Finance Control Expert - CMA Ships

YOUR ROLE

Support the CFO and management in transforming the ship management network by enhancing processes, tools, and governance, while ensuring compliance, continuous improvement, and digitalization within a fast-growing operational context

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• • Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations
  • Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies
  • Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis
  • Contribute to transverse projects (continuous improvement, simplification,)
  • Contribute in supporting the CFO, in the transformation /evolution of organization, processes, tools of The Group Ship management network to support the business in a context of accelerated growth of the owned fleet
  • Contribute to support Management and business in decision making process, oow which, financial modelling (Business Plan,…)
  • Contribute to support the development of the network of manning agencies along with the CFO and Finance manager of CMA Ships Singapore
  • Contribute to Internal control framework, through implementation of Ship management core model, audit methodology design, internal and audit on site
  • Contribute to reinforce the control framework over the 3rd party ship managers
  • Contribute to digitalization initiatives within finance environment

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• • Master in Finance with technical accounting and finance background (at least 8 years relevant experience, ideally in Audit)
  • Proficiency in computer and office tools
  • Comfortable in English both oral and written
  • Team Management capability

  • Analytics and synthesis capabilities
  • Continuous improvement and risk approach mindset
  • Change management mindset
  • Good interpersonal skills in an international and intercultural environment
