IT Expert CMA CGM air cargo

YOUR ROLE

We are looking to strengthen the IT team of CMA CGM Air Cargo, the air freight subsidiary of CMA CGM, with a versatile technical expert.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Define, in collaboration with architects, technical solutions that meet business needs and integration requirements between our various applications.

Act as an expert to resolve production issues and implement necessary improvements to prevent recurrence.

Manage external developers and conduct code reviews and quality reviews to ensure compliance with best practices.

Take in charge some developments directly

Document critical solutions to facilitate technical support and future developments.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

• Proficiency in middleware and integration technologies (ETL, API, microservices, orchestrators, API management, etc.).

• Strong development skills (Java + Spring Boot, Python, React, Node.js, or other relevant languages).

• Knowledge of exchange protocols and data formats (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, JSON, XML, etc.).

• Experience with integration tools like MuleSoft, Talend, Apache Camel, or equivalents.

• Knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL).

• Understanding of event-driven patterns (topics, queues...) and at least one associated technology (MQ, Kafka, SQS, EventBridge...).

• Cloud environments (preferably AWS), for build (Docker, ECS/EKS, S3, secrets...) and run (logs, telemetry, dashboards...).

• Knowledge of application security (OAuth, SSH, certificates, private keys...).

Behavioral Skills:

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks.

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external providers in an international context (English and French required).

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.

• Analytical thinking and ability to solve complex problems.

• Ability to mentor other developers through team processes (knowledge transfer, code review, pair programming...).

• Find the best balance between quality requirements (testing, clean code...) and time-to-market (MVP, short cycles...).

Education and Experience:

• Engineering degree or equivalent Master’s (Bac+5) in computer science.

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role (middleware development, application integration, etc.).

• Experience in the aviation or logistics sector would be a plus.
