Data Innovation Project Manager Specialist

YOUR ROLE

The Lines Transformation Department is accelerating the use of data, artificial intelligence, and new technologies to transform the commercial and operational performance of the lines (pricing, allocation, revenue optimization, internal productivity).

The projects led by the team enjoy high visibility among senior management and the Executive Committee, with a direct impact on the Group's strategic decisions.

In this context, and as part of the Head of Data team for the Lines and Pricing department, we are looking for a Data Innovation Project Manager capable of structuring, driving and accelerating data and AI initiatives, combining business understanding, strategic vision and execution skills.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

You will be a driving force for data innovation within the Lines Division.
Your role will be to identify, structure, and implement projects with a high business impact by leveraging data, AI, and technological opportunities.

Management and structuring of Data & AI projects

• Framing initiatives: business issues, value assumptions, feasibility.

• Prioritizing according to business impact and complexity.

• Ensure functional management with:
  o CMA IT
  o Infosys
  o AI Factory
  o Pricing, Allocation & Cargo Flow teams

• Challenge business needs and define clear roadmaps.

• Ensure alignment between business ambition and delivery capacity.

Business Analysis and Data:

• Produce in-depth analyses to objectively assess issues and guide decisions.

• Gain a detailed understanding of pricing, allocation, and cargo flow issues.

• Translate complex needs into actionable data use cases.

• Identify optimization levers (analytics, AI, automation).

Accelerating innovation & AI:

• Co-develop innovative projects with start-ups, technology partners, and customers.

• Identify AI and agentic use cases relevant to the lines.

• Accelerate the adoption of AI within the department.

• Launch POCs/MVPs and transform promising initiatives into structured projects.

• Actively monitor data and AI innovations in shipping.

Cross-functional leadership:

• Bring together multidisciplinary teams around common goals.

• Drive momentum for execution and transformation.

• Interact with senior management and contribute to strategic support.

• Promote a clear and ambitious vision for the lines' data transformation.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

• 5 to 10 years of experience.

• Solid experience in data or digital projects with a strong business impact.

• Excellent analytical skills.

• Good understanding of digital transformation issues.

• Ability to quickly assess the value of a use case.

• Strong appetite for AI and new models (including agentics).

• Business understanding

• Ability to communicate with senior business contacts.

• Ability and appetite to work with expert data engineers and data scientists

• Proficiency in Agile methodologies.

• Proven use of Jira and management tools.

• Fluent in French and English is essential.

• SQL is a plus.
